Accessing Webmail from Any Browser Print

  • 0

Webmail lets you read and send mail without configuring a mail client.

Ways to reach webmail

  • From cPanel: Email Accounts → Check Email next to the mailbox

Log in with your full email address and its password.

Choosing a webmail application

Roundcube is the default and works well on desktop and mobile. If your server offers Horde or SquirrelMail, they are alternatives, but Roundcube is the one we recommend.

Set a default so you skip the chooser

On the webmail landing page, tick Open my inbox when I log in and select Roundcube. Next time you go straight to your inbox.

Useful things you can do in webmail

  • Create a signature: Settings → Identities
  • Set an out-of-office reply: Settings → Filters, or Autoresponders in cPanel
  • Create folders and filtering rules
  • Import and export contacts as CSV or vCard

If webmail will not load

  • Some networks block port 2096 — try /webmail on your domain, or a mobile connection.
  • Clear cookies for your domain and try again.
  • Confirm the mailbox password by resetting it in cPanel.
